Mental Health Seminars
Purpose
The Counseling Center (Office of Student Affairs) works with departments, mentors, and student leaders to host class seminars and online talks. These events teach practical mental health skills and help prevent psychological crises.
How It Works
At the start of each semester, the Center surveys departments and leaders to check their interest and match them with suitable speakers and topics.
-
Venues & Setup: Applicants arrange the location; both sides handle setup and reception together.
-
Feedback: Students fill out a quick survey after the event to help the Center improve future activities.
In the 115-1 semester, our online talks cover self-care, phone and time management, stress, emotions, and social media anxiety. All sessions run on Webex, and everyone is welcome to join!
